I grew up surrounded by fruit. Even though I like all fruit, I especially love muskmelons and strawberries.
There are four distinct seasons in Japan: spring, summer, autumn and winter each with its own delicious fruit. I hope everyone in the world wants to taste our delicious seasonal fruit.
I'm looking forward to seeing you. -

I moved to Hamamatsu from Osaka in 2011.
We have various fruits such as muskmelon, large grain strawberries named "Benihoppe", and "Mikkabi tangerine" in Shizuoka. We are very proud of these fruits.
I like the seasonal change we can see through the fruits. Their work of art-like beauty, enchanting taste and wonderful scent all make me happy.
I believe that we can also make customers’ families and friends happy with our fruits. -

I joined Shomeido in 2004.
I'm very interested in agricultural products because my parents used to be farmers.
The grade of vegetables and fruits estimated by producers is a barometer of their quality.
We at Shomeido purchase only the highest grade fruit from the Hamamatsu wholesale market and local producers.
Please enjoy the real taste of premium fruit. -

I was born in Hamamatsu in 1940. Fruit farming has changed so much compared to half a century ago: sales method, varieties, quality, taste, how to eat and so on.
The quality of Japanese fruit, particularly has improved dramatically over the last 20 years.
I can't predict anything about what Japanese fruit will be like half a century from now. Climate change will surely make a difference.
However I believe our excellent producers will be able to overcome this challenging situation.
